A NFP will allow companies or individuals to donate funds and resources to KnockNOW without a tax penalty. The goal of the NFP is to acquire sufficient funding to subsidize or sponsor projects that assist in "building successful technology companies". Formed as a 501 (c) (3), the KnockNOW foundation is set up to accept corporate contributions. These Corporate Sponsors are providing donations through their Community Investment Dollars or general fund. KnockNOW also is accepting donated professional services and is working with 2Xchange to provide a web based platform to track the distribution of services to qualified technology companies.
